Possum Living (book) - the interest in this book was in the situation. A teenager wrote the book while living with her father in a self sustaining household. Can I just say I have netflix envy. I really really wish I could do that real time streaming thing :/ Oh the possibilities! Do you still pay for cable/satellite tv or just use that?

On possum living. I did find out that my library has a copy! I just haven't gotten around to checking it out yet.

Just think about all those muscles you'll be getting with the wheelbarrel poo method *ducks*

I don't have cable or satelite. Netflix is so much cheaper, and it doesn't entice me to sit on my butt and stare at the quite as much.

Honestly, I didn't read all of Possum Living. I read the first half, got the point, and skimmed the last half.

About that compost spreading - I just wish I could get more even coverage with the wheelbarrow method. I have to say, I haven't been to the gym in months, but I have had so much "farm" work to do, I haven't needed to go. Funny you duck after that comment - as if you know better to tease someone with a shovel full of composted manure in her hand!

Heeeeee. Well I'm a little less scared knowing it's composted poo as opposed to the fresh variety :p

I would totally ditch satellite if I could do that netflix thing! The manperson is obsessed with the political channels and sci-fi. I couldn't care less about 99% of it, but love the idea of having all those movies/shows available "on demand." Maybe someday.
