Cally Henderson happened to be out for a walk that morning, to get some fresh air and to clear her head about things.

When she walked past the place on Memory Lane and saw Jack, she couldn't help but giggle.

"Nice hat."

Well aware that he looked an absolute idiot at the moment, Jack beamed and waved.

"Thank you!"

"Getting things into the holiday spirit, I see," Cally said. "A good time for it."

"I suppose," Jack said, though there wasn't any real annoyance in his tone, just a bit of fronting because if Ianto broke out the singing, dancing Santa, Jack was going to have to shoot it.

"How are you doing today, Cally?"

Aziraphale was out for a walk to enjoy the crisp weather. And to do some mental planning for the festival coming up. He stopped when he spotted the decorating going on, and walked up the lane with a smile on his face.

"Do you rent yourselves out as a decorating service? I've got a bit needs doing around my house as well."

"No!" Came from Jack and at the exact same moment Ianto peeked over the edge of the roof and called down.

"We'd love to help!"

Jack glared fiercely up at his employee who arched his eyebrow in a manner that on a 5 year old would have involved sticking out the tongue and going Phhhbbbtt!

Ianto recieved a bright smile from the angel, who had up to that moment been mostly teasing, but was now imagining a rather entertaining bit of time spent decorating. And eating, of course, because HE forbid anyone ever came by the Wilson-Phale residence without getting fed.

"My dear, that would be just lovely," he called out to the young Welshman, and then shot Jack a smile as well. "Can I bribe you with cake and biscuits?"

"Sounds wonderful!" Ianto called down, which earned him a sputtering look from Jack.

"I'm sure we have something to be doing!" Jack yelled back.

"No, we really don't ... Sir!"

Jack stood there, jaw open for a minute before he snapped it shut.

"You know, Boxing day isn't until the 26th!"

There was no response to this as obviously Ianto felt the matter was concluded.

Sighing, Jack looked over at Aziraphale and raised a pine covered finger in his direction.

"You're a trouble maker."

"My term would be idiotic," Jack said and then flinched as a half second later a large bundle of lights fell on his head.

"Oops," Ianto said without a hint of contriteness. "Mind working out that knot, Captain?"

Jack glared.

Pippi quirked an eyebrow at the response and stifled a giggle at the antics.

"Why the long face?"

"You mean besides the giant knot of little twinkly lights in my hands?" Jack responded, though there was a kind twinkle in his blue eyes.
