Jack looked up and arched an eyebrow. A half second later, the hand that had been reaching for a gun relaxed and he sat back in his chair.
"Am I going to have to start leaving you little puzzles out there?" He said and though the words might have sounded snarking, his expression was genuinely impressed.
"And I'm not trying to attract multiple women with my music."
"And the kinds of women I wanna attract with my voicemail already know the score." Dean shrugged. "And if leavin' me puzzles makes ya happy, feel free."
"Seriously, I've got to take you out one night and expand your horizons," he said, leaning forward to toss the file he'd been reading up on the cluttered desk.
And there was little doubt Dean would find some puzzles with non lethal yet unpleasent little consequences if he fails in the future.
