killer youth retreat this weekend with the meeting place crew. the camp we stayed at used to be a sanitorium for polio patients back in the early 1900's. some of the unrenovated buildings were a little creepy. so it would appear that I lost my job on monday. my position and that of the detail/wash guy are going to be combined as neither of us had much to do at most hours of the day. so I went to the lake for the weekend and did an exhaustive amount of relaxing. read some books, drove the boat around for a bit, wrote some new riffs, owned the falcon lake minigolf course (they got new turf!) the storm was pretty much amazing watching it come thundering across the lake with all it's lightning and walls of rain ( Read more... )

so cornerstone was phenomenal. we snaked our way into a prime camping spot, the weather was infinetely more comfortable than last year. the dust got a bit out of hand, but it seems to have had little effect on our health other than some black boogers every morning. we ate a lot of toast, lit off some strobe light fireworks and had canada day dance ( Read more... )

ok, so the ex was pretty wicked last night. as was teen magazine quizes. I'm pretty sure holding hands makes any ride better. I screamed like a girl in the haunted house.
