I'd say go for both. Live your dream, with your loved one by your side. Live your loved one's dream too by his/her side. so you'll be living 3 dreams! Yours, your loved one's and love! Cept I guess love isn't a dream. HAHA

haha it's not fast moving that's why! i'm reading catcher in the rye and i think i'm halfway through w/o even realising.
it's sup to be inspirational and it did inspire me so i guess the book's okay. i confess, i was a bit put off by the start too! and their lingo of spirit of the world or sth like that.
