Is there any way to melt the stuff or pull it off the roof? I was thinking about some sort of space heater, or just climbing up on a ladder & whacking it off with a hammer. Which reminds me, you got all those tools, but did you get the ladder you were telling me about?

Oh wow, that sucks! I haven't been keeping up with lj recently and this is the first post I've read on what's going on. All hope, prayers and fingers crossed that damage turns out not to be so bad and/or is well-covered by insurance.
