Lylith had been quiet for most of the ride over. Being Jennifer's cousin, she knew everything that had occurred that night at her cousin's house. She hadn't thought about it too much though, and it certainly didn't occur to her how much of an issue the two of them having sex was going to become. She looked over at Bartholomew again as they walked up to Joshua's front door. The man must have been thrilled, and it made her wonder if maybe she should offer Lo some of what Jenny had offered Josh.
Joshua opened the door, a lopsided smile on his face. "Hey. I made Mac and Cheese, if you're hungry, Lylith." He avoided Bartholomew's gaze - the vampire had a knack for knowing things were wrong - and gingerly took Lylith's arm, leading her inside.
"We actually ate just before we came. If it pleases you we can eat a small helping, though." She reached over and punched Joshua playfully in the shoulder, winking. "How's the tiger doin' anyway?"
"If it pleases me? What's all that about?" he teased, strafing to the side to allow them in, jokingly rubbing his shoulder. What was all this about a tiger? She never called him a 'tiger' before..
