DON'T BELIEVE THE LIES!

The words are inexplicably surrounded by cartoon animals, hearts, and flowers.

Ed is standing on the sidewalk, admiring her handiwork.]

[Jeff just happens to be walking down the street when he pauses near Ed and squints at the message on the street, shading his eyes as if he's not used to dealing with sunlight.]

What is the purpose of this missive?

[He tilts his head to one side, curious.]

Please clarify if possible. Data gathered so far indicates that approximately fifty percent of the population comes from dimensions external to the one housing "Mayfield," are you referring to these individuals, or do you believe that "Mayfield's" origins are extraterrestrial in nature?

[She points up at the sky and looks at him as if her meaning were obvious.]
