Appearance:
Emmett Cullen is huge, standing at 6’5” and very muscular earning him the nickname of ‘the big guy’. He has pale skin that sparkles in the sunlight and his eyes are golden although they turn black when he needs to feed. He has a round face with dimples and dark, slightly curly hair that helps to give his face a childish look.
Emmett dresses mostly like a vampire gangster commonly wearing sports clothing such as his Cullen baseball uniform and other such attire and generally baggy clothing including many hoodies and baseball caps that Alice picked out. He also has a wristband bearing the Cullen family crest that he always wears.
Personality:
Emmett has a good sense of humour and often tries to alleviate tense situations by making jokes; he commonly enjoyed teasing Bella about her sex life before she challenged him to an arm wrestling contest which she won. He loves both watching and playing sports and especially baseball and football and he is very willing to fight with the Volturi especially the tracker Demetri. He is very protective of his family and was happy to see Bella become a vampire. After Rosalie found him after being mauled by a bear she carried him over 100 miles to Carlisle so he could be turned into a vampire as he reminded her of her friend’s baby Henry. Emmett said that being saved by Rosalie was like being taken to God and they stayed together since then often getting married whenever the family moved to a new place; they also were very physical and broke several beds and houses so much so that they had to leave the Cullens for a time. He got on well with his family in particular Jasper who he enjoyed wrestling with and he was vital in helping to defend the family against threats including the Volturi and Victoria and her newborn army.
History:
Emmett Cullen was born Emmett Dale McCarty in 1915. In 1935 at the age of 20 he was mauled by a bear in Tennessee only to be found by Rosalie who carried him over 100 miles to Carlisle Cullen so that he could turn him into a vampire. Rosalie saved Emmett because of his innocent face which reminded her of her former friend Vera’s baby named Henry as Emmett had an innocence in his face not often found on a grown man. Emmett settled into vampire life well and ended up as the strongest of the Cullens and it wasn’t long before he and Rosalie fell in love; they had to leave the Cullens for a time because of how physical their relationship was. He and Rosalie often married whenever they moved to a new place. Emmett did have trouble with the Cullen’s vegetarian lifestyle and has tasted human blood in the past although he enjoys hunting with his family, especially bears.
Emmett moved around with the Cullens and ended up in Forks attending the local high school along with Rosalie, Alice, Jasper and Edward and worried about Edward when he first met Bella although he ended up liking her (much to Rosalie’s annoyance) and ended up protecting her from James. Later, after Jasper attempted to attack Bella during a birthday party thrown by Alice he moved away with the rest of the family. Later, when Bella goes to the Cullen family to state that she wishes to become a vampire Emmett agrees and has no problem with her joining them. When Victoria raises an army of newborns to attack Bella, Emmett helps to kill them to protect her along with the rest of the family and some of the werewolves from the Quileute tribe.
Emmett was at Bella and Edward’s wedding, dancing with Bella for her last time as a human so that he could make her blush and he was present during her eventful pregnancy and the aftermath including Bella’s first meeting with her father after being turned where he helped to lighten the mood by watching sports and commenting about it. He also joked about Bella and Edward’s sex life as the cottage they’d moved into was still standing implying that he and Rosalie had a better physical relationship. Bella challenged him to an arm wrestling contest on the condition that if she won he would have to stop making jokes about her sex life. Thanks to her newborn strength she won making Emmett angry enough to demand a rematch. Emmett helped to protect the family against the threat of the Volturi - expressing a desire to fight the tracker Demetri - but this did not come to pass as Bella’s love shield protected them and Alice and Jasper arrived with a half human, half vampire child, proving that Renesmee would not be any danger in the future meaning that the family were safe from harm.

Emmett groaned, rubbing his eyes and looking around the room, not recognising a thing. Waking up in itself was strange enough, something he hadn’t done since 1935 when he’d first woken as a vampire. Sitting up, he spotted his baseball cap sitting on the bedside table and he smiled, grabbing it and slapping his palm down, managing to break the table as he went.
“Shit,” he cursed, sticking his cap on and taking in the three other beds in the room, “Stupid shoddy furniture. Nothing gets built to last these days.” Swinging his legs over the bed he looked out, not seeing the familiar woods of the house and unable to hear any of the others.
Leaving the room without further incident he cupped his hands, shouting as he walked, looking for any of the family.
“Rose? Baby? Is anyone with you? Jazz, Alice, Carlisle, Esme?” he poked his head around another door, the smell of human blood making his head spin, “Edward? Bella? Nessie? C’mon, uncle Emmett needs to show you how to deal with the dog!”
Sighing he jogged down the stairs making sure he kept out of the light. Had Edward gone on some decorating spree? No, there wasn’t enough beige for that to have happened.
“Rose? Baby?” he glanced around again before smirking. This had to be Rose’s idea for them to get some quality alone time now that the danger was over. “Babe is this some sort of kidnapping game because if it is then kudos to you because it’s going to be fun,” he paused again and adjusted his cap, “Or is this a treasure hunt baby? Because that's not a belaying pin in my pants~
