I need to update my icons on here, but whatever.
I saw
this picture again, and I quickly wrote this dumb little snippet below. Just tossing it up on here, because what the hell? This actually also completes my
fanfic100table, though I intended my last fic for that to be a longer fic I'm working on, but hey! I did it! :D Happy Holidays!

this picture. J2 dress up for their Christmas party.
“Hey, Santa.”
Jensen grins when he hears Jared’s voice, though it’s not really visible through the ridiculous beard he’s got strapped to his face. He turns and immediately takes a step (or two) backwards, startled by Jared’s appearance.
Jared’s face is covered in makeup, and not the usual kind they need for filming. He’s blushing under the blush he’s got on, making his cheeks extra rosy. Looks like he’s been pre-gaming. To prove that point, he lifts a hand and offers a bottle of scotch up to Jensen, smiling. “You look surprised.”
It still takes Jensen a moment to recover, his eyes taking in Jared’s curly blonde wig with a red bow in it, and the Mrs. Claus dress. He chuckles and steps forward, taking the bottle and pulling his beard down so he can open it and take a swig. “I like it. Your eye-shadow really brings out your 5 o’clock shadow.” He takes another swig, then caps the bottle and places it aside. They still need to actually have this Christmas party. “You know, I really wasn’t expecting this.”
“Well, we already decided that you would be Santa,” Jared says, stepping closer.
“Yeah, but I figured that you would show up here in some ridiculous elf costume, or something! Not Mrs. Claus.”
“This is funnier,” Jared replies, moving in and grabbing Jensen’s beard to pull him closer. “And more accurate.” He kisses Jensen, glossy pink lips over those with remnants of fake beard stuck to them. “And I kinda like it.”
Jensen’s brows raise, and he smirks. “Oh,” he says softly, eyeing Jared. “I guess we’ll have to explore that more, huh?” He licks his lips, spits out fake hair, and they both laugh. “But I get it. You’re my equal, not my servant elf, is that it?”
“And I’m prettier.”
“Ooh,” Jensen scoffs, shaking his head, “I wouldn’t go that far.” He pulls his beard back up to where it should be, his voice muffled now. “We both know I’m prettier, even when most of my face is covered.”
Jared smiles softly at him, and Jensen’s heart feels warm. He mentally blames it on the scotch. “Can’t argue with that,” Jared says, kissing Jensen’s nose. “Shit.” He reaches up, fingers rubbing at Jensen’s nose to remove the lipstick that’s now showing there. Jensen laughs, and Jared gives him a disappointed look and shoves at Jensen’s shoulder. “That’s not how Santa’s supposed to laugh!”
There’s a moment where Jensen almost rolls his eyes and shoves Jared back, but instead he musters up his best “HO HO HO!”
“That’s more like it!” Jared shouts, turning and linking his arm through Jensen’s to walk towards his trailer door. “Let’s get out there. They’re gonna love this.”
