My Best Friend

I've never had one constant best friend -- it's changed periodically as my life has progressed. My first true 'best friend' was my cousin Vrastian when I was in the family home. While studying in the Academy, I had a few friends who merited the title 'best'. There is no question but that The Doctor was my best friend during our travels together, ( Read more... )

Inexpressibly so. I dislike feeling down, but I cannot deny feeling a loss, and feeling at loose ends at the moment.

I understand completely. I felt that way all the while at Brendon. Surrounded by people but you're still alone. *pause* Is there anything I can do to help?

Well, one thing that would help me feel like I'm actually doing something towards locating possible other survivors of the Time War (on the Time Lord side, of course) would be to set up a beacon near galactic zero center. I have larger plans in mind for this sort of thing, but getting an initial signal broadcaster up is the first step.

Feel like coming along for the ride?

I can't think of anything more essential, particularly now.

I've been making some good progress on repairs lately, aided by your leather-jacketed self. I can see exactly why you find that kind of thing therapeutic. And my jaunts to Deneb 6 and Varos are nearly finished, so I daresay I'll be back quite soon.
