Rinoa's mind was heavy. She wondered what kind of summoner could be responsible for Aetas. As the trio walked, the girl thought about what she could say to a person like that- what questions she'd have. It was... intimidating ( ... )

Edea had to hide her amusement at Selphie's overreaction to the possible danger of crossing the street. Not that it wasn't good to be careful, but as usually she seemed to be taking the whole thing a bit far. Still, it was good to see her so enthusiastic.

Arriving with Rinoa and Selphie beneath the large billboard, she glanced up at the writing. "No idea," she said, shaking her head. "It might be interesting to watch if we had time, though."

The dark Sorceress wasn't going to step on Selphie's toes by telling her, but Selphie couldn't be her knight. Edea's knight was back at home, and no one but Cid could ever fill those shoes for her. It was him that had kept her a sane as possible through everything, and she wondered if she would have fared better with these trials had he been here as well.

"Perhaps once we meet the others, we can all think of an appropriate name?" the Matron suggested. "We can come up with a few ideas and put it to a vote." That would be the fairest way to go about it, she thought.

Selphie's eyes glanced up at the billboard overhead once she heard Rinoa's comment. Spotting the large bird and the words "ANNUAL CHOCOBO RACE!" following after it, Selphie couldn't help but get a couple of ideas in her head ( ... )

Aerith hadn't been feeling all that well, and after some serious convincing, Zack had been left with no choice but to leave the flowergirl on their 'borrowed' airship. They didn't know when an enemy might strike, and leaving Aerith by herself (especially when she didn't feel well), didn't sit well with the First Class SOLDIER ( ... )
