His nose wiggled along with his whiskers as he found himself in the mountains again. It wasn't unusual for Sephiroth to pick mountain ranges for their first teleportations of the day, usually because they were safe starts. They had been moving almost constantly since leaving Edea after all, and while his wounds were healing nicely, he just wanted to spent time in one place for more than a few hours.

Regardless, he flicked a lop ear slightly and rubbed his face with a paw. He eventually settled it back on Sephiroth's shoulder and remained settled in the space between Sephiroth's neck and armour, a spot he had insisted on taking up once it was clear that they would be moving around. He wanted a view of more than the inside of some cloth.

'Whenever the planet deems it prudent to turn me back,' he corrected simply. He had no idea why he was still in this form, but he was willing to let things go for now. It just wasn't his decision to make. 'And then you can be rid of me for awhile.'He stood when Sephiroth grasped him, allowing the ( ... )

Sephiroth had to wonder if Gaea was doing all of this for more than simple 'safety sake'. He wasn't at all surprised by the terrible dry humour the planet attempted to show from time to time, and the thought caused the once-General to inwardly sigh.

Glancing down at the rabbit as he pulled the blonde into his arms, Sephiroth questioned lightly, 'That eager to be rid of me, hmm?' There was a chuckle highlighting his voice that made light of his words.

Shaking his head, he sighted a small flat area that would allow for Cloud to stretch his legs. Teleporting them both down to the area, Sephiroth crouched down to allow for Cloud's feet to touch the rocks below. 'I apologise if my company is not optimal.'

Hunkering down against Sephiroth's arms, he suspected that it was going to be a long day of travelling among the mountains. He flicked an ear in annoyance to Sephiroth's words and buried his forehead into the silver-haired man's bicep. 'I could have sworn that you'd be eager to settle me back to civilization so you're not forced to carry me around.'

He was by now completely used to teleportation, and he made a snuffle noise when it was clear that he was going to be able to get down. He settled his furry feet on the stone and wiggled his tail back and forth before stretching. It wasn't long before he hopped about on the flat surface. 'You should be fed up with me by now.'

There was nothing but silence to Cloud's reply before he found himself softly murmuring, 'Having you around isn't so bad.' As loath as he was to admit it, he had grown rather used to having the blonde around despite the difficulties they'd begun with. He knew it was dangerous to grow dependent on another. Kadaj seemed to have disappeared from his senses, and he idly wondered what had happened to the little remnant.

Watching as Cloud wiggled out from his grip, Sephiroth's hands began to slowly pull away as the blonde righted himself. He saw the way that the tail wiggled, and with an almost affectionate flick of the appendage, Sephiroth pushed himself back up to stand. '...stranger things have happened.'
