it has been a long time since i last updated this thing. and as i look back over that entry, it's just hilarious how fast life moves and how fast things change. it's pretty amazing. i've been thinking about how different i expected my life to be and seem to have gained some perspective on things that have happened. hence, i feel like i'm handling ( Read more... )

gah, you get to go home in the summer...I'm stuck here as of this year now...there will probably be too many jobs for me to go home for any real extended period of time...

Casey's 18th b-day is in Feb and my grandma turns 80 in March so I get to go home for those which is nice but other than that...I work for CBC until May/June-ish once a week, then I could work baseball or soccer..then the olympics start and that takes me right to football-hockey-and school all over again! boo.

p.s Weakerthans albums is my love - sun in an empty room = favorite...I have my ticket for the show in Winnipeg December 22nd...they're playing here on November 8th I think...haven't decided if I'm going yet, they might be sold out though

well, i think i'll just be going home for two months i'll be in school, but then ideally I will be back here running camps or helping out my Grandma.

you get to go home for Christmas right? I'm there for a week and bit and then we're going to Arizona again for Mike's hockey tournament again, but this time we are actually going to do more stuff cause we will be there a bit longer.

I can't believe Casey is 18 soon. Meaghan turns 16 at the end of November and has gone to get her learner's, which is terrifying.

If you decide to go the Weakerthans concert here let me know. I'm in Toronto so much these days. I'll be there on Thursday, then again on the 23rd and then on the 26th and 28th. just through travelling mostly. so, we should def. grab coffee sometime.

I'll be going home for Christmas as work permits me...hopefully I can get the 22nd and 29th off which means I would be home from the 16th until the 4th of Jan...19 days at home would be great!

Casey just actually got her full license, no word on whether or not she's destroyed my tercel yet...but the day is coming, she had a good teacher on how NOT to drive :P

Thursday are BAD for me in general as I'm in class until 7:30...Saturday's I have given away to work which goes 5-1:15am
