Fanfic: New Frontier, 1/?: November Rain. Life on Mars (R-rated for character death, dark)

This is a new multi-chaptered story called New Frontier (title inspired by the likewise-named song by Iron Maiden). It is a dark, disturbing story I came up with for Halloween two years ago, or rather, a plot that I thought of and subsequently roleplayed with my friend, moonclaw
It is about an alternate reality where people are born with superpowers (

Ooooooooh!!! This is fantastic! I'm dying to find out what powers they all have! And poor Sam not having one <3333 This is a really interesting start- I can't wait for the next part! :D

Well, in this chapter, we found out that Chris is super-fast (if only physically...), Annie is an empath and Phyllis can sense people's powers... very convenient for a desk sergeant having to deal with those criminals coming in.
I have some time free so I might be able to write the next chapter today =)
