[Homura wakes up, expecting to find herself back in the hospital, like with before. Upon looking around, though, everything seems all... wrong. This isn't her hospital room, the date on the calendar is all wrong, and she can't find her things, either, especially the one most important to her

[ Japan, meanwhile, has just been preparing breakfast like he does normally every morning, like the good houswife he is- complete with apron- when he hears footsteps. At first he assumes that it's probably either Nadeko, or Chizuko, or Taiwan- although the footsteps sound too hesitant and seem to be doing quite a bit of walking around the house when they stop. So out of curiosity he leaves the kitchen for a moment just to check- and find himself standing behind a girl she doesn't recognize. Standing in front of photos which have been modified for some reason and include her... oh. Oh! Suddenly everything makes sense!

Now if he could just think of something to say and not just stand there behind her motionlessly and wonder... ]
