Can you explain a bit about merits to me. You say your MNK has full H2H merits, I always thought merits were cumulative (had a war with emnity merits from his PLD). But you said your MNK for the h2h merits. Wouldn't that mean if you went to DRG you'd have H2H merits or do only certain ones carry over?

Only certain ones carry over, but in this case, my H2H merits transfer to every job. I unlocked them with WAR, so my MNK had them from level 20~ onward. It learned Raging Fists at 39 when the normal is 41, Dragon Kick at 63 when the norm is 65. It hit 276 (the cap for an A+ weapon at 75) sometime during level 73. It's now sitting uncapped in the high 280s, dunno exactly, havent checked.

Ya, sad thing is, the night I leveled to 75 I hadn't partied in 2 weeks.

Generally I only do statics with members of my LS and we always go with a setup of BRD+RDM+NIN and 3x melee, we did as much as 14k/hr at times.
