[There's a shiver.]

Gods, why is it still so cold? It never seems to end.

And such strange noises after dark, so very chilling. I must say, so far this "world" seems a very odd place.

Is it always like this here? I certainly hope not.

Does it? It seems it's been freezing since I woke up here... [And isn't that still boggling.]

It's probably going to stay cold until spring comes. With any luck the power shouldn't be out for a long time... [Keyword is "shouldn't"]

[Sorry, Roxas, Alamut hasn't invented the "generator" yet.]

..."the power"? Oh, you mean those switches which work things in the cottage?

Somarium is actually quite lovely in the spring when nothing strange happens.

And how long will it take spring to arrive?

It should be soon if it is January now. Two more months perhaps.

Forgive me.

My name is Sebastian. I'm the Phantomhive butler. I offered my services for your party, which I believe was hosted not long before you quit Somarium the last time.

[Ah. Another of those. Strange. Best to take it in stride.]

Oh. Forgive me, I'm afraid I don't recall anything of that...former time.

[No matter how weird it sounds.]

I'm pretty sure those noises aren't just that.

Oh, no doubt. No telling what horrors infest this place.

At least you didn't see that giant snowball attacking the mountain.

What sort of idiot attacks a mountain? The mountain doesn't care.

[From this broadcast, it would seem she is safe - and that's a relief given recent events and his own run-in with one of the savage Noctaere. His right forearm has been dressed with bandages although it's difficult to tell when his arm is still, on account of his long, drooping sleeve.] In the time I have been here, this world has proven itself to be mutable and unpredictable. Hopefully this evil will vanish sooner rather than later.

[A thoughtful pause.] ...The cold, however, may be here to stay for longer.

I quite agree. Sooner would definitely be better than later.

[Oh, dear.]

...what happened?! Were you attacked?!

A woman was being chased by one of those creatures in the city, last night. I was able to destroy it, but, it managed to catch me off guard. I was careless.

Careless or not, you managed to survive, which is admirable.
