If we can get a decent resolution picture we can upload to Walmart and have the wording added to her pic, print it out and mount it to poster board to make stiff for photos.

At school, my kids had Barnaby the Bear who would go on outings wth the kids and have his photo taken as a record of his advntures. Maybe you could find/make a doll that looks a little like K to be in photos, which she would then have as a physical link to the images to hold onto in hospital?

I like this idea! Timestep if you think it would be okay I can acquire a small doll or plush toy and along with the picture have the toy in the photos. Then at the end of Con I can mail you the toy to give to K.

I am going to Disneyland this week. If there's something I can do for you while we're there, let me know.

ETA: Embroidered Mickey (or Minnie) ears are always fun, and that's something I could do.

ETA 2: You're better off Facebooking me if you do want me to do/get something as I access it from my phone. LJ is strictly a computer thing and I won't be on the computer this week.

So it's a long story that ends with 'I'm an idiot' but we didn't get a picture of K with the princesses. What we did get were several amazing pics of her at Yosemite, some great pics of the princesses in the parade, and a pair of Minnie Mouse ears embroidered with her name. Prolly be Friday before I manage to get them shipped out. Just FYI.

Oh, that sounds wonderful!! She will LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it.

If you want to email me the pictures, I'll post them on our FB account for her travels -- or you can just mail her the pictures. It will help cheer here.
