So I'm home by myself - everyone went home for Christmas already, & Matt's in North Carolina.  It is FREEZING all of a sudden; highs were in the 80s a couple of days ago & now they're in the 50s, with lows in the 20s - so not okay.  I'm wearing long underwear with long wool socks pulled up over them, & a huge sweatshirt - it looks kind of like an

Yeah, I yanked that thing off the wall & deprived it of its battery so it finally stopped. HOWEVER, this morning - ANOTHER one started doing the same thing! I actually didn't even know we had three in the house, I had to search for it - but what are the chances of two smoke detectors having dead batteries at the same time? Bullshit.

I'm trying to not feel so anti-social. Whatever.

I really want to see Charlie Wilson's War & I know my mom does too, haha, is that dorky to invite you to go somewhere with me & my mom? I mean I was thinking of asking her to go & since you might want to see a movie...

PS, don't hate me for forgetting (I forget EVERYONE'S, I swear), but isn't your birthday late/are you 21 yet? We could go get a cocktail! Haha. Ever since I turned 21 I'm obsessed with classy drinking.
