[For the most part, Gil ignores the strange device that always seems to make its way back into his pockets. This morning, however, he's spending some time trying to gain a better understanding of the frustratingly foreign object, awkwardly testing its features - only to pause when an all too familiar face flashes unexpectedly into view.]

[The more he sees, the less he understands. He knows that this thing is supposed to be able to somehow capture moving photographs, but the picture shows an even younger boy than the one that has been with him. And he thinks...he thinks he might remember this, remembers Mrs Kate telling him the young master was out and a hollowness in Oz's eyes when he returned. What is this?]

[He hasn't heard Oz leave his room, but he can't help but stride towards the bedroom door now, some small fear that this place has done more of the impossible beginning to grow. Forgetting the civility of knocking entirely, he pushes the door open.]

Oz?

[If anything, the black hat in his hold kept him from overreacting from the dream. It's something familiar, something real, and something that hasn't hurt him. And it reminds him of his best friend, that someone does care about his well-being, so the small little object makes things okay, just for now.]

[Oz looks up, gaze drifting from the Dreamberry to peek up through the dim light of the bedroom. He forces a small smile on his face, temporarily vanishing the vivid dream--no, memory--from his conscious.]

...Morning, Gil~ [Instinctively, he holds the hat closer]

[The moment he sees Oz sitting there - just as he'd left him - the panic washes away, leaving him feeling more than a little foolish. Could he have honestly thought...]

A-Ah, yes. Good morning. [He gives the hand still holding the Dreamberry a slight wave.] I just...

[Oz continues smiling--until he notices the Dreamberry in his best friend's hand. What are the chances? He won't bring it up unless Gil does so he forces the smile back on his face, acting as if nothing was wrong whatsoever.]

Hm? You just? [A small head tilt]
