[... ah.

So it begins, it seems.]

My, ailing health at such a young age, little Oz? I do worry about you at times.

[ His stomach churns, drops, and nearly splatters because does Vincent know? He must and that's not ... ]

...You're far too kind, Mr. Vincent.

Indeed.

[He smiles. Leans in. His tone reeks of conspiracy.]

Does... brother know of this little mishap?

[ What to say, what to say. On one hand, if he says yes, and Vincent tell Gilbert... that'd be a lie and Gil would hate him for that -- and if he said no, Vincent would say anyhow and Gil is just going to find out and -- ]

Ah...does it matter if Gil knows~?

Is the young master to hide something as important as this from my brother?

How horrible.

Ah, not necessarily. I was merely suggesting that whether or not I told Gil really only matters to me and him.

Ah, so I see. Well then, if I may be so presumptuous as to clarify-

Will you be enlightening my brother about this matter?

I don't hide things from Gil, I assure you, Mr. Vincent.

[ smile smile, but oh hell is that a lie, even if he wishes it wasn't ]

Do you not? How curious. And here I had the strange notion that we were to finally agree on a matter.

What a terrible shame this is.

[ Just. Stares. ]

Though I'm sure Gil would appreciate it if you didn't bring up the matter.

I would appreciate it very much if the young master were to keep a tight lip on such a topic.

However, I do know that the young master's relationship with brother is one based upon trust.

It would be a terrible burden to bear.

It's inevitable that Gil will find out after this, though I'm sure it'd be a less-than appreciable topic to discuss.

[An impartial shrug.]

Surely you understand that, don't you?

I do understand. That brother's distraught face must stir within the young master such delightful feelings.

I don't think delightful is the right word for it.

Why else would he insist upon bearing such awful news to brother? Being one who loves brother very much, I could never comprehend such a thing.

[Suddenly, he smiles. And the conspiracy is back.]

Of course, it was a valiant effort, little Oz.

Would the young master like to hear what I know?
