It had taken them more time to get dressed and prepare for the upcoming dinner than Atemu had anticipated; as if, now that they were at home again, they had more difficulties leaving it than before. However, this was a dinner with friends, and Atemu gently guided his husband to the car, as it was a fifteen minutes ride to the Bakurae/Ishtar house.

With traffic rather easy for a chance, they arrived in a little over ten minutes at the large house, various lights on the different floors on. Atemu took the presents they had for the inhabitants from the backseat, shooed Yuugi out of the car -it was cold outside- and locked it, before walking with him to the door and ringing the bell.

Ryou heard the doorbell ring, which caused him to squee inaudibly. After taking one more look at the table, he walked over to the door.

He opened the door, looking at who was on the other side. It was just who he had expected, and had hoped it would be. "Hello Atemu-san! It's so wonderful to see you!"

"Good evening, Ryou, it is good to see you too," Atemu said, trying to remember how long it had been since they had seen each other - to long, especially for friends. That was the greatest disadvantage from moving to Egypt, that they weren't able to swing by their friends as often or as convenient as they wanted.

"I hope everything finds you well," he said, trying to balance his husband on one arm and the bag with gifts on the other arm.

Yuugi came in, his arm wrapped with Atemu's, before letting go of his husband's arm for a moment and running over to Ryou and practically glomping him. Yuugi would have tried to restrain himself a little more, but he had really missed Ryou and was very glad to see him again after a very long year.

"Ryou-kun, it's so good to see you!" said Yuugi excitedly. "How is everything?"
