The pasta is nearly done. I'll strain it and set it aside while I finish the sauce to accompany it. Dessert is already prepared, and I'm quite certain you'll enjoy it, as chocolate is the primary ingredient.
The Doctor wiped his hands, then looked up to regard her. Should we dress a bit more formally, or is our attire suitable? I haven't had much experience with this myself, so I'm not versed in the proper protocol. Perhaps we should simply wear whatever we deem comfortable.

She knew the answer without having to hear him say it and continued on to address his next question. What use are clothes? I do not see any reason to change attire to fit any sort of event. Does doing so make a difference?

The Doctor patted his coat thoughtfully, considering her question. Well...people wear different attire to suit different occasions. Generally, you wouldn't find people wearing only their knickers at a wedding. For something...romantic, they often dress with a certain amount of panache.
