oncoming_storms: Wrath

OOC: Why the Seventh Doctor's darkness (or should it be Darkness ©?) fascinates me so, I cannot say. But I am on a quest to continually explore it. And thus, this prompt was born. Nothing too violent, but maybe a little...disturbing? Unsettling? I'm sure I'm overestimating my abilities, but 'twas a noble effort, at least. Without further ado...

You always destroy yourselves. )

This was absolutely amazing. Frightening and dark, and so in character. I love your Seven's voice, it's perfect, never failing. I love his speech at the end, before he leaves, the "There are chambers in the depths of your heart," speech, it's such a horrible thing, torturing someone with their own memories, but you can see why he did what he did. And the moment he wonders what he's becoming was absolutely brilliant.

My favorite line: He was a wanderer among ghosts and ruins.

This was so brilliant, in every possible way. Your seven is amazing, keep exploring his darkness as much as you want, please! =D

Thank you! I'm so glad Seven sounded, you know, Seven-ish, because when I write him 'Oncoming Storm'-like, I tend to get more insecure about my handle on his voice. I worry about the day when it's easy to write him like this, though. :P

And I have definite plans for more 'darkness-exploring'. :D

Your Seven is brilliant. He'd difficult to write, with the sheer number of layers he has to his personality, he's a mix of dark manipulation and lighthearted eccentricity, and you just completely nail it.

And yay for more darkness-exploring =D

*blush* You're too kind, thank you. And Seven is truly fascinating. I love how he can be serious, then a clown. How he can be Darth Vader-ish one minute and then like Ghandi the next.

Seriously, let me take a moment to completely fangirl your Ten. I've seen lots of people out there writing Ten, but there are only a few who just capture him so completely and effortlessly, and you are among them. I've been reading your journal for a while, but I'm always shy, even in RP-land, so...I fangirl from afar. But seriously, your Ten is wonderful. And I've often wondered how Seven and Ten would get on, purely because the Doctor got so irrevocably dark, it seemed, starting with Seven. And he blew up Skaro and that couldn't even help in preventing the Time War.

Anyway, wow, I ramble late at night. :P Thank you again.

To be told this was terrifying makes my heart flutter, seriously. :D Thank you so much. Every time I watch "Battlefield" and "Curse of Fenric," I am amazed at how close the Doctor comes to being a Sith Lord unredeemable. I love exploring that precarious line he sometimes treads between darkness and light. And the Seventh Doctor was capable of so much cruelty.

And I'm glad you liked that speech, Rassilon knows I edited the bejeezus out of that thing until I was completely satisfied. Thanks again!
