You haven't? Huh. Then it must be my own cliche, although I haven't actually said that to anyone in a while, either, so if it's been a while since it's been said, it loses its triteness, doesn't it? (That must be a rule somewhere.) In which case, it's not currently a cliche, but it has the potential to be, if I keep saying it a lot in the near future.

You never, ever, ever fail to astound me with your Seven prompts. Ever. This is, therefore, no exception. You've taken one of my favourite things about him -- his pre-cognizance -- and given us this absolutely lovely character piece in how he can cope with his inevitable future and just ... wow. It's really, really good.

I love the way you've written the TARDIS here, too. She can be such a mother hen sometimes, and it's always awesome seeing how others interpret her bond with the Doctor, how deep it goes and how it plays out in their interactions.
