[Well, Edgeworth had said that the Doctor could have the run of his apartment - or well, the media sections of it, and the Doctor had been more than happy to take him up on that offer. For starters, as lovely as the Lagrange base lot were and as much like family as they were to him, he was going crazy cooped up in that base. Not just from the cabin ( Read more... )

[That sound at the door might just indicate someone who can help you decide, Doctor~ With a bit of jingle-jangle of keys in the lock, the door opened and in came Edgeworth, wearing his usual work clothes and bogged down with a bag of groceries. Sigi hopped up from his post (he had discretely overseen the Doctor's visit from the minute he arrived) and joined his master at the door, greeting him with his usual enthusiasm.]

[It wasn't until Edgeworth had ushered the dog back into the apartment with a few choice, doting words that he noticed they weren't alone.]

[With surprise (and maybe a touch of embarrassment)] Doctor! So glad you could take me up on my offer. [He dropped his keys in the glass bowl on the sofa table then cleared his throat.] When did you arrive?

[ He had looked up at the sound of the door opening, but decided not to move, instead remaining where he was with a DVD box in each hand as he smiled up at his friend. ] Yep, that's me, hi! Sorry about letting myself in while you were out, but you did say I could drop by, and well, I'm getting cabin fever up where I'm at. I've been here for, oo... a couple hours maybe?

[ Noticing the bag of groceries in Edgeworth's hand, he rose to his feet. ] Can I help you with those, or are you good?

[Edgeworth waved away his concerns with his free hand, hefting the bag and moving towards the kitchen.] I'm fine, thank you. Please continue. I'll just be a moment.

[True to his word, Edgeworth set the bag down on the island, put away the perishables, and was quickly back in the living room. He gave the Doctor a small smile.] So... Is my collection living up to your expectations so far?

[ The Doctor waited, returning Edgeworth's smile with a nod. ]

Oh, I'd say more than that. You really do have an excellent library going on in here. Actually -- [ He lifted the two boxes he was holding. ] I was just looking at these. I'm pretty sure we don't have anything like The Steel Samurai on my world, or any other I've heard of for that matter, even though I've heard Mileina mention it once or twice. I guess Pearl must have introduced her to it or something.
