To My Friend Nero...

I had this friend once.... his name was Nero Pruitt. It was my first year of attending the local Junior college and It was his last as a teacher there. I didn't take any of his classes, rather I got to know him from sharing a table at lunch and we just started talking. He was one of those people who you knew was just what he seemed, unassuming

I don't think I had talked to him in 15 years, but yeah, very happy to have known him... and I totally forgot him telling me that story until today. Memories are funny like that.

me too, and so many people got to know him as a teacher... (people said he was a great one) ... and, he looked like Yoda, can't beat that with a stick :-)

What an incredible memory you have been blessed with, to know someone who has left such an impact on your subconciousness, without even realizing it. Thank you so for sharing, and so to hear it, but he sounded like he had a full and happy life.

I can't remember how to spell my name half the time, but I can remember ever random conversation with fun crazy people in line at the grocery store from when I was 7, silly brain ;-)

He did, in his quiet strolling way, he really stomped on the tera ;-)
