To My Friend Nero...

I had this friend once.... his name was Nero Pruitt. It was my first year of attending the local Junior college and It was his last as a teacher there. I didn't take any of his classes, rather I got to know him from sharing a table at lunch and we just started talking. He was one of those people who you knew was just what he seemed, unassuming

Oh me too, I've wondered that ever since he told me that.... hummm, perhaps I could track down his son? interesting idea :-)

Thanks :-) I like it too... actually keeps making me think about what I was like at 20, I was funny, I think I would have written lots of wacky future predictions, you know, like floating cars with Jetsons sound effects or Arnold Schwarzenegger becoming Governor of California ;-) Is it strange that my young self is pretty much... still the same? I know women mature earlier and men...em, don't, but thinking back or reading old journals from my younger days... I don't think i've changed at all (tho I do spell a bit better...frightening as that is ;-P

Aw, thanks hun, yes, they are rare, but when I think back, it feels like i've met more than my share, feeling very blessed.
