I definetly see a greater proportion of men with caffeine "addiction". At our store we have far more men that come in (every day, without fail) to get their coffee - and it's always coffee. In fact, I can't think of a regular man that comes in to get tea or any other caffeinated beverage. Our regular women tend to have their favourite drinks - not always coffee (and quite a few of them will mix it up, day to day). There's only one woman who I can think of who I see everyday. Her name's Ellen and she's crazy about Ice Capps. Not exactly "coffee", but close enough.

I am female and personally, caffeine doesn't weigh that heavily in my life. During the school season (September to April) I get a coffee every morning. Regardless of how much sleep I get or how tired I am - either way, it'll give me an extra boost. I would say that I depend on it those days because if I skip out on it? Disaster. But I won't go near it on the weekends or when school's out as it's just not that necessary.

Interesting.
