When Mello first vanished, I wanted to give up too. Just couldn't figure out how in this fuckin' sadistic place.

Then he comes back, but it's not him. It's the him that I hate the most, the one that doesn't have a fuckin' clue of what we went through together. And he's picked up some older, more annoying, one-eyed substitute. Sucks, man.

I don't know what to tell ya, except that you don't deserve this. You're one of the good ones. I'd fuckin' starve without ya. ((There's a hint of a smile in his voice at that.))
