My father got out of hospital on Saturday, and seems to be somewhat better.

Meanwhile Marcia's going in tomorrow for knee replacement surgery...

Yay for your father! And here's to Marcia's fabulous new knee!

(Okay, not so much for the work that goes into welcoming it to her body and getting up to speed on using it, but I still remember the adrenalin rush and sheer, joyous relief my sister felt when she got her new hip. Yes, there was pain from the surgery, but the bone-deep pain she'd been enduring for years was suddenly, totally gone. That was such a win.)

Remember to take good care of yourself as your so busy taking care of them. :-)
