Mazal tov! Some time in the next week, I will be voting in my first Australian election: for our local city council. I'm waiting to get material on the candidates first, which I hope comes soon because I have to vote early rather than on the day of the election, which is always Saturday here. Of course, although I would do it anyway, I don't have a choice about voting here!
