3 bedroom town house with crappy windows and ancient gas furnace:
Hydro $150 every two months (so $75 a month). Gas Less then $70 through Late spring to early fall depending on temperature and as much as $185 during the winter months. Our water is included in our rent.
For apartments... older apartments are generally boiler heat and your water is included in your rent so you are generally just paying personal hydro. On Cherry street we ran about $80-90 every two months (40-45$ a month).

For our townhouse:
Water: $55/2 months
Gas: $~60/month, averaged out throughout the year.
Electricity: ~$60/mo
So... in total, maybe $150/mo.
