berta is definitly, unquestioningly insane. i do kind of like her though, and i don't know why. maybe it's her stories of how she saw a latin influence and would have died if she didn't buy it. or maybe it's her obvious favoritism of suzanne, random freshamn girl -"Can i give you my project for state convention?" berta -"NO WAY YOU FOOL! THEY HAVE ALREADY BEEN SENT OUT" ...after class suzanne - "This is my project!", berta - "that wonderful suzanne"
