At the doctor's this week, I weighed in at forty pounds! (Forty pounds fully dressed in my winter boots, but, who's counting!) This means that I can finally move up to a booster seat! I started crying last night around 9 PM that my ear hurt. One long night later, we make it to the pediatrician at 8:30 (walk-in), and by the time we finally see the doctor (9 AM), my ear is oozing goo. I have ear infections! Wheeeee! cole_b, Mama, and I got Daddy three head lamps for his birthday. His birthday is tomorrow, but we opened his presents just before dinner, so that Granddad and Donna could see. We are now eating dinner in the dark, with our head lamps on.

Christmas was fun! I was sick the week before, which I Didn't Like At All. On Christmas Eve, Juj and Aunt Marie and Marie's mom came to visit. We gave them some cards that we'd made, and they gave us a Space puzzle, a Doggie game, and water bottles with our names on them. Then we got our jammies on... And! SANTA! Came! I am feeling awful today, like cole_b... all stuffy and coughy. I am feeling so yucky that I want to stay home from school, despite it being ice cream day. I am probably not feeling so yucky that I'll behave myself while home.

The choir at church yesterday was all dressed up in scary costumes! They sang a spooky song from a Harry Potter movie. "What costumes do you see?" Mommy asked. "Witches! And vampires! And bison!"

Mommy made lentil stew for dinner. She does that a lot, when the weather is cool. But tonight, I liked it! I didn't just eat the chickpeas, potatoes, and carrots and complain about the green stuff!
