Chinese Painting

While I took care of Ethan in the morning, Lena Mathtoyz took care of Tim in the afternoon, giving Royce and I a chance to re-charge with a nap.

Lena brought Tim to the book fair in Suntec City, where for a small fee of $5, Tim has an hour of Chinese painting lesson.

yeah...cos he stopped the art lesson. It was rescheduled and the new timetable did not suit us, so we decided to stop, rather than stress over it.

Mmmm..do thy take younger kids? Can 'plant' Yihang there and go shop shop on my own for a break

Art was my favorite subject in school .. i can really see an artist in Tim .. can consider grooming him or giving him lots of opportunities to do art. Art is a very good way of self and creative expression. In my time (childhood), nobody had high regards of art and doing art was not encouraged .. it's sad ..

Surprisingly, he did not do very well for his Art in his school (he has a B) cos they did mostly drawing and colouring (not his favourite), and he prefers painting!
