I think shows that want to have a teaser or cliffhanger at the end of the tv season in May should film an extra episode for 1 or 2 hours to air in the middle of the summer - to carry us over and keeps us interested - before going into the Fall start-up season

This is why the week before the new season starts, the networks show last season's finale. It's come in handy a few times for us.

Yeah, but wouldn't it be cool if they threw one episode at us on July 4th as a bonus or something?
