Here's my funny idea... Obama picks Clinton as his VP running mate.

Not Hillary - Bill.

What's the over/under on how many minutes until Hillary murdered someone if he did that? She would go positively ape-s&%* ballistic!

Exactly - Obama would never do it, but if he did that would be the end of somebody for sure.

I just thought - if there was ever a way to slap Hillary right in the face this would be it.

Oh yes, it would definitely be a slap in her face.

I hope Obama picks someone who is not very polarizing. It'll be interesting to see. One of my LJ friends ran a poll about whether he would pick Hillary. Um, no. That would doom him, because enough Dems hate her to either vote Republican or not vote at all.

He has two ways to go - pick someone who fills a gap in his own background and experience -or- pick someone who can get him Hillary's votes.

Enough people dislike Hillary that I wonder if taking someone like Richardson, who worked with the Clintons so much and was respected for it - I wonder if more Clinton backers would vote for Richardson than Clinton herself.

No can do. Constitution states that nobody shall be Vice-President who is constitutionally disqualified from the office of President. As somebody who served two full terms, that takes Clinton (XY version) right off the table.

It would be fun, though - there stands a combined notional ticket that could talk Steve Spurrier into doing the Tomahawk Chop.

A funnier rumor is that McCain would pick Hillary as his running mate...
