This sounds like a fantastic idea! Good on you for actually doing it. (too many people talk and then do nothing about it.)

Thanks. :-)
I've been one of those "I really should go back to school and get a degree" people for way too many years... So now I'm putting my foot down and doing it!

Excellent!

Although, speaking as someone who has one, degrees are somewhat overrated.

Yeah... Well... I have a decent job, which I enjoy. But this is something I've been wanting to do for a while. So, dammit! I'm a doin it! :-)
And my decent job footin' the bill... well, that's just gravy!

One of the really super-awesome things is that my job will pay up to $2,000 a year for my degree.

This is how I got my BS and my Masters. Much better than loans or paying for it yourself!

Sweet!
Honestly, I just look at that and think "how can I give up free money?" It's like not putting that 3% that they'll match into the 401(k). Just silly not to take advantage! (Plus, in my new position at work, I get bonuses each month if we hit our quota... one check will pay for a class. And as long as I get a C or better, I get it back. Score!)
And, I love learning new stuff. So, even better!!

It took my Dad 30 years to finish College. He said it was one of the most rewarding things he ever did.
