I tend to write about anything that comes to mind - random memories, random opinions, random happenings during my day.
Others write about their thoughts and feelings. Or about books they read or poetry they've written.
It also depends on whether you want a "blog" or a "journal".
And at the risk of pointing out the obvious: if you can't think of anything to write, don't write. It's your journal and not a graded assignment, n'est-ce pas?
