i have made a decision. and that decision is to go back to school. currently i have two B.S. degrees in art fields (and let's be honest, my majors were enough BS on their own...) and it would be really great to get a B.F.A. instead. i think maybe now i actually have the ambition, not mention time to kill, to get a more specified art degree. i

these are the red flags i have found:
"as much as i hated brockport, and still do..."
"the odds are pretty slim i could actually be a professional woodcutter"
"i'd be happy for a little while"
"i don't want to wait until i'm old and arthritic to decide"
grad school is where professionals go to advance their careers. unless you have ample money and time on your hands, you should have a specific need for the degree. the first reason being you could take classes that interest you for a lot less money somewhere else. the second being that grad school is an investment and you should be confident that it will pay off before you dive in.

ok well everything i said still applies, but i will add that in the world's eyes, a degree in art is a degree in art. they make no distinction.
but if you're going to do it, do it because you just really want to do wood cutting. don't expect the actual degree to make a difference in anyone's life.
