Ouch. That was really awkward. Poor Edward. Poor Bella. It's possible that Edward loves Tanya, but I don't think he's in love with her. It seems like it'll take a while for him to realize that. And I don't blame Bella for wanting to get away. Certainly he's attractive, but he's very taken and he's making all those random comments! I'd be a little spooked too.
