you enter your drawing class two weeks late and try to humble your intrusion with "...i don't really know how to draw. i haven't taken an art class since i started to write" you are artfully artless. you aim to disappoint or impress. but if you were to say nothing, you would disqualify qualification. and then how would you quantify quality
