This presentation was extremely moving. To come to think of it, I've really never had that much information on HIV and AIDS other than watching RENT a million times. My school doesn't really go very in depth on them, which is quite scary. There could be a lot of students that have the virus, but don't know because they are ill-informed. Every year I come away from this presentation with something new, I didn't realize the disparity in health coverage that exists for people living with this virus. I should have figured that one out, the "better" policy you have = better treatment, Medicaid = not the best treatment coverage.

It's crazy that statistics clearly show "abstinence only" is ineffective,(shocking but true!!!!) yet districts keep teaching it....I think it is a reflection of how uptight our society is with anything related to sex. The famous wardrobe malfunction (Janet Jackson)really sent us through the roof....God forbid anyone sees a boob on national T.V.!!!! What will the children do????? lol
