Ooooo, snow. Love it. Thanks for the pix. And here I am thinking that it would be really kick-ass to go sledding on that stuff! Although that weather was wacked-I was watching on the news.
Believe me, it has taken 10 years, but every now and then I think I can tolerate the Florida weather. Especially in the spring. Quite frankly, you can have spring up north. Wet, cold, pretending to get warm only to dump more snow on you...I loved snow in winter because that was when it was supposed to happen. We were prepared. But snow in April. That just blows.
If I was from Florida, I would be miserable up north-hang in there! But since I am from up north, I feel exiled to Florida (no seasons! Arg!) And I have a positive fetish for outwear that I can no longer indulge (sigh). Stay warm!
I realize that it's all a matter of what you're used to that equates to what you are willing to put up with, weather-wise. I can't even imagine going through another Northern winter (and it's not nearly as bad here as it is in other locations -- my poor cousin in Cleveland comes to mind), but I know there are plenty of people who feel the same way about a Florida summer! Guess there's no accounting for taste sometimes...
Yes, just to add to my recently expanded weather-related lexicon: "thundersnow". This was what the local weathercaster called it. I call it a gorram freak of nature.
I'd be glad to send some snow your way, m'dear... word on the street is we're to expect more next weekend! Grrr.
