An Update

So Thanksgiving wasn't as bad as I predicted. I got to spend some quality time with Lilybug as well as my dad and the rest of the Chang clan. They were pretty welcoming of Eli after all. Well, except for Liz. Apparently baby hormones have turned this sweet woman into a banshee. Sorry Tommy, but I say that with love.

I know, I know. I don't know why she's having such a hard time lately, to be honest. I've tried everything I can to reassure her but nothing seems to work. I think part of her would rather be mad just in case anything goes badly. It's going to be a long few months, isn't it?

You know I'm not really mad, Tommy. I really was glad to see everyone. She's probably just stressed about the pregnancy and I don't blame her, but I just wasn't okay with what she was saying. I will continue you to blame her baby hormones, but if she continues to use me or my relationships as verbal punching bags once this baby is born, then I might reconsider the whole pie thing. Deal? :p

She seems to be under the illusion that she gets a free pass to say whatever she pleases because she is pregnant. I've let her know that attitude isn't going to fly. Lily is already having her bossy moments and that's definitely not okay.

The pie is fine as long as it's the fish one. The other pies Nay makes are far too delicious to waste.

Remember that year we fed some of that salmon pie to Gene Kelly? Poor dog. I hope that's not why he died...
