Personal History: (any history not thoroughly discussed on the show that you deem important to your portrayal of the character)
While Tina's stutter was fake her anxiety about having to talk in front of people wasn't, it's why she doesn't say much, it's why she gets so nervous before the New Directions have to sing anywhere but she likes to think she's improving although she knows it's never going to completely go away. Tina loves photography she'll take photos of anything, her friends, scenery, random things she sees walking down the street. She loves that it's something she alone is good at and it's something she can do herself. The reason we don't hear about her parents is because they aren't around to be heard about. Her mother Maggie spends most of her time working at a beauty salon she owns and as for her father Li, wherever he does make an appearance, he's never there for longer then two weeks.

Journal Entry
It seems like my mother is only interested in a conversation with me if it's about a shade of lipstick or which hair accessories to use. It's so hard to talk to her about anything, she's always been distant but lately it's like she's taking another step back. Sometimes I see things that I have in common with her but usually she's so different from me that I'm not sure how I turned out like I did.
Third Person (may be past or present tense)
Tina grabbed a couple of books from her locker before she shut it, keeping them under her arm as she walked through the halls of McKinley, she was keeping her pace fast as she was on her way to the choir room, the last thing she needed right now was a slushie thrown at her or some hockey player making an offensive remark. She let herself relax a little as she saw the door to the choir room, the sight relaxing her slightly even as she increased the speed of her walking, finally she walked in to the choir room, there. Safe at last...at least until she had to walk through the halls again.
