So, I went to check the journal of a friend here from livejournal. She hadn't updated her journal in 3 weeks, which was unusual.  I read the comments of her last post and learned that she passed away a few weeks ago.

She had some health problems, but this was unexpected.

I feel like the wind has been knocked out of me.

It is strange to feel so sad about the death of someone I never knew in real life.

I can imagine. There are so many people on my FL that, if I didn't hear from for weeks and then discovered they had died, I would grieve just as I would someone I knew in my day to day life. It's so strange how we develop attachments through this machine.

Online or in real life, you still connected with her. Take time to grieve, as we all are...

Thank you. I've been sad all day. I had a feeling something wasn't right. I was used to reading her entries so regularly. She was one of the people online that I would have loved to hang out with in person.

Re-reading that last entry about broke my heart. It is surreal to read her description of what was going on with her physically. Man. Do you have more information about what happened? My email is: luckysparrowvintage at yahoo.com.
