I was stepping outside of a book store (of all things) and it wasn't in a particularly bad area of the city. I got chased for a good few blocks.

Ugh...that sucks. I'm glad you got away okay. I find in my city too, there's just no "good" areas anymore where you won't get harassed or stabbed or whatever. There are crazy people everywhere. :(
